Actions speak louder than words.
We went all the way to Italy just to demonstrate the strength of our masts.
The trip took us to the University of Perugia, specifically to the Engineering Department, where it is possible to test the resistance of objects to strong winds.
In the wind tunnel, we placed our Wing 2.4 Flag, whose mast is made of carbon composite, except for the tip, which is fiberglass. The technicians subjected the flag to winds of 160 km/h.
As you can see in the video, it bent but did not break, and it returned to its original shape without any deformation. Having successfully passed all the test points, the engineers at the University certified our mast.
With great pride, we share the test here so you can see it with your own eyes, along with the certificate available for download—just click here!
